2009 - Third Annual Meeting

The Rafinesque's Big-eared Bat Working Group (RBEB WG) 3rd Annual Meeting will be held from 1:30 - 5 PM on Wednesday 2/11/09 in the Mocking Bird Room at the Arkansas State University Student Union in Jonesboro, AR. As in the past, this is the day before the 14th Annual Meeting of the Southeastern Bat Diversity Network, and at the same location.

This year we have several invited speakers who will be giving presentations regarding current research and conservation oriented projects. We still have room for additional presentations, so please send presentation/topic ideas to: alison_mccartney@blm.gov.

A large portion of the meeting will be devoted to working sessions for projects conducted by Bat Conservation International, SBDN, and US Fish and Wildlife Service. Your input and expertise is very valuable to the outcome of these projects, so please plan on attending.

A special room rate of $82.50/night at the Holiday Inn in Jonesboro, AR will be available from 2/11 - 2/13/09 to accommodate this meeting as well as the SBDN meeting which will take place from 2/12 - 2/13/09. Rooms can be reserved by calling 870-935-2030, or on-line at: http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/hi/1/en/hotel/jbrar
